Common Humanity Collective is a mutual aid group that distributes masks and DIY air purifiers to Bay Area communities. With our crowdfunded supplies, we focus on supporting people with the least resources and neighbors most vulnerable to poor air quality and disease. Right now, public health policies have put big business first, leaving us to survive pollution and COVID-19 by ourselves. We are working toward a future where everyone has essential modern health resources like high-filtration masks and indoor air purifiers.
Please note - the majority of our masks are technically expired. However, so long as the straps are still tight, the filter material is still effective. If you’d like to learn more, here are some studies compiled by Mask Bloc East Bay.

In the spirit of harm reduction, if you are making a request for a funded event or organization, Common Humanity Collective will try to fulfill the request if possible. We urge well-resourced events and groups like large nonprofits and for-profit businesses to purchase their own masks and air purifiers.
